The Center for Growth offers individual, couples/marital, and group psychotherapy. Therapy begins with an initial consultation to determine if depth psychotherapy is an appropriate fit for what you wish to accomplish in therapy. The Center for Growth also provides workshops and presentations to a variety of community groups and organizations.
Individual Therapy

EMDR
EMDR is quickly becoming a popular form of therapy, epseically or individuals who have been through various types of large or small traumas. Several of our therapists are trained in EMDR. Our approach to EMDR is embedded in a depth psychotherapy approach in order to promote more holistic change and healing.
Pre-marital Therapy
Pre-marital therapy general consists of helping a couple think through their decision to marry and then prepare for a healthy marriage relationship.
Group Therapy
Group therapy generally range in size from 4-8 members. The groups meet one-time weekly for 90-minutes. There are several benefits to group therapy over individual therapy for some individuals. It can be a particularly effective approach to growth for people who struggle in developing and maintaining satisfying relationships. Group therapy provides the additional advantage of receiving feedback and support from other group members along with the therapist. (Click here for a listing of our current open groups).
Couples Group Therapy
Couples group therapy is a unique approach to therapy which involves 3-4 couples participating together in group therapy. This type of group focuses on relationships issues and is open to married and non-married couples. The Center for Growth offers a regular couples group and an interracial couples group.
Small Group Parenting Classes
The Center for Growth, P.C., also offers occasional small group parenting classes. These groups are educational and interactive in nature. As with most parenting classes, we have specific topics and parenting education material that we could. However, what is unique about our approach to parenting classes is that we limit the size of the class to allow for more time for discussion, questions, and focusing on the specific situations you are dealing with.
