This page lists any group openings which are currently available. If there is not a current penning in the group you are interested in, we can work with you to provide individual services until the group begins or has an penning.
Women for Growth Group
A women's group call "Women for Growth" is beginning at the Center for Growth. Click here for more information or call contact Cathy Calvert for information about joining the group.
Prenatal Depression and Adjustment Group
The Prenatal Depression Group is an ongoing group for pregnant women struggling with depression, the adjustment to being pregnant, or the preparation for becoming a mothers. It is open to first time mothers as well as current mothers who are expecting another child. Mothers are welcome to continue for a period of time after the birth of their child for ongoing support and also can transition to the Postpartum Depression Group.
Postpartum Depression Group
This group is for women who have recently had a child and struggling with postpartum depression or other issues related to the adjustment to having a new child or parenthood.
Interpersonal Group
We are beginning to recruit member for an interpersonal therapy group. This is an open group for individuals who struggle with depression, loneliness, and/or relationship issues. For more information, contact Dr. Louis Hoffman at (719) 260-0724.
Small Group Parenting Class
The Center for Growth, P.C., will be beginning a 6-week Small Group Parenting class. Dates and times are determined by interest. Please contact the Center for Growth for more information.
Affirming Sexual Identity Group
This is an ongoing psychotherapy group for LGBT individuals who are struggling with issues of sexual identity including sexual orientation, religious/spiritual beliefs, family and other relationships. The focus is on developing a healthy personal and sexual identity. This group is co-facilitated by Dr. Louis Hoffman and Dr. Sandra Knight. Contact Dr. Hoffman for more information.
