The Center for Growth, P.C. has a number of payment and treatment options. These have been developed to better serve the special needs of the community and our consumers.
Initial Consultation
At the Center for Growth, P.C., our commitment is to help you find the best possible treatment for you. We are committing to helping you find the therapist and treatment option which fits your goals and needs, even if this means referring you to services outside of our practice. We are happy to set up an initial free consultation with you to determine if one of our treatment options is the best fit for your needs. In the initial consultation, we will gather some information about you and what you are looking for in therapy along with providing you with information about our services as well as treatment options outside of our practice. Cost of Services
The Center for Growth, P.C. functions on a sliding scale, which means the cost of therapy depends upon your household income. We have two sliding scale options: one is for our licensed psychologists and one is for our psychological interns and psychological trainees. The cost to see a licensed psychologist is more expensive than to see a psychological intern or trainee. Our psychological interns and trainees are doctoral students who are under the supervision of our licensed psychologists.
In addition to the sliding scale, we do have a few scholarship opportunities for individuals with special needs or unique situations. Each of our therapists donates a portion of their time to work with people for rates lower than our typical sliding scale; however, each therapist is only able to offer a limited number of these slots. Individuals qualifying for the scholarships must demonstrate a strong committeeman to the therapy process as well as a need for additional financial assistance.
For many clients, group therapy is a power treatment option that can help keep therapy affordable. Group therapy provides many of the same benefits as individual therapy and can be used to treat most of the same issues. However, the cost of group therapy is much less per week than individual therapy. To determine how much the different therapy options would cost, please contact us to set up an initial consultation.
Insurance
Upon request, The Center for Growth, P.C. will provide clients with a receipt that can be turned in to their insurance company for reimbursement. We cannot guarantee that your insurance company will accept this form. The Center for Growth, P.C. has elected not to apply to be on any insurance panels; instead, we offer a sliding scale for payment. Our reason for not applying for insurance panels is because we strongly believe this is best for the consumer and helps us focus on providing the best possible personalized care to our clients.
Payment Options
At the current time, we accept cash and checks for payment. We do not accept credit cards or bank cards at the current time. Clients are responsible for payment at the time of the services.
