Diagnostic Testing
Psychological diagnostic testing can be useful in helping people better understanding their emotional, relational, or cognitive (thinking, academic) difficulties. We provide a wide range of diagnostic services.
Assessment of Academic Difficulties & Learning Disabilities
The Center for Growth provides assessments to identify learning disabilities and academic problems, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or learning disabilities, which may interfere with your academic success if not identified. If learning difficulties are identified, we provide feedback on specific strategies to help compensate for your challenges.
Academic & Career Fitness Assessment
Fitness assessments help determine specific strengths and weaknesses which may impact you in your academic and career choices. Both your assets, what will help you succeed, and your challenges, that which may complicate your success, are evaluated. We can also work with you to develop strategies for improving your academic and career success.
Adoption Evaluations
We provide adoption evaluations which include a comprehensive evaluation of each partner's psychological health, parental fitness to adopt a child, and martial stability and health. Included in all adoption evaluations are a feedback session providing information for parents on how to prepare for the new child entering the home. Evaluations can be adapted to the particular needs of the prospective parents and the adoption agency.
Premarital & Couples Assessment
Premarital and couples assessments help couples identify their strengths and weaknesses, as well as problems which are likely to emerge in the future. This process can be very beneficial in helping couples deepen their understanding of each other as well as assisting in developing strategies to work through conflicts. Premarital therapy can both help couples make a more informed decision about getting married as well as preventing future problems.
Personality and Conflict Assessment
